Paxata - Postman Connection

I am still learning Postman capabilities. I want to send API request from Postman to Paxata and get the results.  Is this possible?

Yes, you can use Postman for making REST API calls to Paxata.

    The general setup is this:

    1) get your Paxata Authentication Token by clicking on the person icon in the upper right corner > choose "Tokens" from the menu

    2) launch Postman and for authentication make sure you use Basic Authentication.  Leave the userid blank and put your token in the password field.  Like this:

    3) enter the URL for your paxata instance and the API endpoint  (refer to the REST API documentation).

Hopefully, this is enough to get you started.
  • Can you please provide the REST API documentation?
  • Please find the REST API docs on the Paxata secure docs server. You will require a user name and password to login to it, and the Paxata Application Administrator at your company can help you with those credentials.
